Less than two blocks away are the Rosslyn metro station (blue/orange line), taxis and shuttles that go directly to Dulles, as well as to Georgetown, Dupont Circle, and NIH in Bethesda. Rt 50, I-395, I-66 and the George Washington Parkway can all be reached within 3-5 minutes. Last, but not least, just a few blocks away is a farmers market (Thursday mornings), a post office, and a supermarket (Safeway). The Potomac river, the shops and restaurants of Georgetown are all in walking distance, as well as the beautiful Capital Crescent bicycle trail that goes to downtown Bethesda and the fantastic Mt. Vernon trail that passes through Old Town, VA, and ends at historic Mt. Vernon.
