The area has a very picturesque view of sailboats and powered boats in the summer and an operating drawbridge over Irondeqoit Bay. There is even a lighthouse at times open to the public in a small park area.
Ridge Road is about 4 miles away with shopping malls and restaurants stretching for miles through Greece and Irondequoit. The street this apartment is on is close to Turning Point Park and the new Genesee River Trail which is a public walkway overlooking the Genesee River. Turning Point Park is a wooded area with trails and fishing along the Genesee River shoreline. Commercial ships can be seen close-up in Turning Point Park.
