Beachfront 1 BR, 1 BA cabin near Tawas and Hale (National City, MI) $550/week. This cabin is currently being COMPLETELY REMODELED to an open floor plan. The kitchen has a full fridge and range and all the essentials you would need to cook with including coffee pot, microwave, and toaster oven.
There is a full bathroom with an endless hot water system. There is a TV with Dish Network, DVD/CD and VCR player and portable radio to use. There is a charcoal grill on the uncovered brick patio along with a couple of chairs and a picnic table.
Boats are allowed and can be anchored by the dock (just not attached to the dock). The backyard has a fire pit that is shared with a joint cabin located on the same property. All of the essentials you might need (including and movie rentals, ice cream stand, pizza, fire wood, etc.) is located across the street.
There is a bike/rollerblade/walking path right outside the front door which will take you around all 7 lakes in the area. A playground is located around the corner and a public beach/picnic area on Sand Lake is about 1/4 mile (just off the bike path).
We are located about 15 minutes from East Tawas where there is plenty of shopping, piers for fishing, beaches on Lake Huron, putt putt golf, etc. We are also about 30 minutes either way from Omer and Oscoda where there are canoe rentals.
The beach is ALL SAND and there is a dock to use for lounging and swimming use only. The water is so clear and sandy with a slow gradual slope and you can even see the snails making trails in the water!
