Commack is a small hamlet located on Long Island Sound in New York. Commack is in Suffolk County and is entirely residential. Residents must commute to get to a downtown area which provides amenities and jobs. Commack is in the middle of it all though and isn't far from some giant New York cities. This area is quite wealthy, and the house rentals are gorgeous. Many find a spacious townhouse in Commack or a penthouse apartment. Folks also tend to check out Manhattan luxury condos before they decide on renting in Commack which gives you the same type of housing for a tad cheaper. One notable attraction in the hamlet though is the Long Island Arena which has a bit of retail shopping for locals.
