Rome is a developed city located just outside the Syracuse area in New York. Rome can be found in Oneida County and is right near the Erie Canal. Rome is fairly large, and provides a commercial district, a bustling downtown area complete with civic buildings, and a few residential zones that generally provide patrons with middle class rental housing accommodations. Many enjoy the city for all it has to offer; the shopping, dining and entertainment facilities are outstanding and the residential features such as public parks and schools are very well-kept.
